A leading Contract Research Organization (CRO), with over 20 years of presence on the international market, operating across 27 countries is seeking to employ Clinical System Support Manager. This is a permanent position based in one of the company’s Operational Hubs in Berlin (DE).
Location: Berlin (office-based)

The duties associated with the role include:
  •  
  • Coordinates and performs the collection of requirements and development of specifications for system design and development
  • Performs system development tasks using defined technology applications and platforms
  • When required, performs assessment of additional technical platforms or applications to support other departments
  • Interacts with software vendors to identify enhancements or communicate detected software bugs, and coordinates testing and plans for upgrades to existing systems
  • Coordinates testing activities for support systems including development of test plans and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Maintains all system related documentation according to SDLC requirements
  • Supports system governance as a technical expert and ensures timely communication on system issues to user community
  • Supports internal and external audits related to developed support systems
  • Maintains application performance metrics and reviews them periodically with FAL to identify areas where efficiency can be improved
  •  
  • May participate in a continuous improvement special project related
  • Participate in outside normal business hours teleconferences as required
Requirements:
  •  
  • B.S. degree in IT related field
  • Strong application skills in use and development of computer systems
  • Experience supporting systems in a medical or pharmaceutical setting or similarly regulated environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of ICH/GCP including, understanding of regulatory requirements and European Directive
  • Good analytical skills
  • Experience in clinical trials is an advantage
