A leading Contract Research Organization (CRO), with over 20 years of presence on the international market, operating across 27 countries is seeking to employ Data Science Manager. This is a permament position in one of the company's Operational Hubs in Warsaw (PL).

The new incumbent will be responsible for management of implementation and continuous improvements of data analysis and data visualization tools and techniques. Will be responsible for data handling including data collection, modeling, analysis and visualizations. Will be cooperating with technology vendors to ensure data and process quality as well as will cooperate with customers and project team members to deliver data solutions compliant with customer’s requirements.

Location: Warsaw (office-based)
The duties associated with the role include:
  • Manages Team of Data Analytic Experts securing performance of data processing activities including data collection, data transfer, modeling, analysis and visualization;
  • Responsible for implementation and continuous improvements of data analysis and data visualization tools and techniques together with applicable documentation;
  • Cooperates with technology vendors to ensure data and process quality;
  • Responsible for quality of data processed to ensure overall integrity, consistency and validity across an organisation;
  • Interacts with Functional Area Leaders and managers for assigned projects;
  • Prepares project specific plans and is responsible for assigned project set-up, conduct and close-out;
  • Cooperates directly with customers to understand customer’s needs and deliver data solutions compliant with customer’s requirements;
  • Actively participates in and influences discussions around data processing, reporting requirements, infrastructure needs;
  • Supports direct reports in their performance, providing guidance and feedback;
  • Holds responsibility for shaping team structure and peers development;
  • Master degree preferably in computer science or life science
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience preferably in data management, data analysis
  • At least 2 years experience in management of team or coordination of work of peers
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of GCP including a basic understanding of data management/processing requirements applicable for clinical research
  • Theoretical and practical understanding of data modeling and visualization
  • Excellent in English, both written and verbal
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills
