A boutique Clinical Research Organisation (CRO), with over 20 years of presence on the international market, operating across 4 regions is seeking to employ experienced Financial Controller.
 
Location: Warsaw (office-based)
The duties associated with the role include:
 
  • Providing reliable and significant financial information to the business managers including calculations and commentaries
  • Active involvement budget creation, update and variance analysis
  • Implementation of reporting and management control procedures
  • Preparation of monthly management reports and periodic financial statements according to the standards
  • Close partnership in cooperation with Operations and Accounting Department
  • Support to the Chief Financial Officer during financial and tax audits
  • Cooperation with contracting parties (subcontractors, sponsors, investigators) in financial area
  • Contact supervision and maintenance with external financial institutions
Requirements:
  • University degree in Economics with specialization in Finance or Accounting (Professional Certification e.g. ACCA, Statutory Auditor, CIMA would be an asset)
  • Excellent knowledge of integrated financial and accounting applications
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in finance departments in jobs related to financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, cooperation with banks
  • Excellent knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
  • Working knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
  • Very good command of English
  • Ability to provide professional judgement
