A boutique Clinical Research Organisation (CRO), with over 20 years of presence on the international market, operating across 4 regions is seeking to employ a Proposal Manager. This is an opportunity to have a significant impact on the success of the Proposals Department and the overall success of the company in further growth of international portfolio of projects. This is a permanent position based in one of company's operational HUBs: the USA (Boston).
Location: US East Coast (Boston MA preferred)

Duties associated with the role:

  • Strong background in proposals development in CRO industry, related with full-service projects
  • Experience in close cooperation with Customers, key Managers, stakeholders regarding proposals and business cooperation
  • Ability to perform assessment and initial qualification for further processing with reference to preliminary business analysis of the sponsor’s financial status
  • Experience in creation of proposal strategies based onl data gathered in cooperation with various inernal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to create apealing proposal documents and budgets based on RFP assumptions and/or assumptions resulting from RFP internal analysis, keeping expected margin level
  • Experience in performing financial analysis of completed projects (margin, correctness of time assumptions) as well as providing input to company’s pricing policy based on market reality and closed projects
  • Ability to liaise with company business partners (vendors) with regards to joined proposals (maintenance of business relations, keeping joined pipeline updated, collection of proposals and negotiation of financial conditions)
  • Strong customer-orientation and negotiation skills will be crucial for effective fulfillment of the duties
